Celebration calls for the full expression of our humanity through the senses of our bodiminds - touch, taste, movement, sight and hearing as well as responses of feelings, thoughts, insights, images, dreams at levels of our consciousness and beyond.

Poetry and prose that express thoughts of the "heart" or "spirit" are wonderful inclusions in ceremonies.  The scientific age may have focussed on the "rational", yet much of our lives are influenced, shaped and feed by the non-rational.
